#ChooseMyPlate: Healthy MealPlanning Challenge
The #ChooseMyPlate ("Competition") is organised by The GraceKennedy Foundation’s GK Campus Connect Programme. The #ChooseMyPlate Competition aims to promote healthy eating habits among university students by encouraging them to create well-balanced, budget-friendly meals.
By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.
· Submission Period: Wednesday, February 26- Wednesday, March 9, 2025
· Voting Period: Friday, March 10- Wednesday, March 12, 2025
· Winner Awarded: March 13, 2025, at our ‘Making the A Grade’ Healthy Meal Planning session at the University of Technology at 3 pm.
· Open to university students residing in Jamaica.
· Participants must follow @gracekennedygrp on Instagram.
1. Create a 2-minute video showcasing the preparation of a well-balanced meal using primarily Grace products, all within a budget of JMD $3,500.
2. Highlight the nutritional balance of the meal, including protein,vegetables, healthy fats, and carbohydrates.
3. Ensure the video includes:
a. Step-by-stepinstructions
b. A list of ingredients
c. The final plated meal
d. The receipt to showproof of budget
4. Post the video on your Instagram page using the official competition hashtags:
a. #ChooseMyPlate#MakingtheAGrade #GKFoundation
5. Tag @gracekennedygrp in the post.
6. The top 3 entries will be selected based on the criteria below, afterwhich they will be posted to @gracekennedygrp Instagram page, where theentrants are responsible for getting persons to like their video. The winnerswill be determined based on number of post ‘likes.’
Entries will be scored based on the following criteria (total: 100points):
The top three participants will receive:
· 🏆 Winner:Air Fryer + JMD $15,000 Hi-Lo Gift Card + Grace Foods Gift Basket
· 🥈 1stRunner-up: Blender + JMD $10,000 Hi-Lo Voucher + Grace Foods Gift Basket
· 🥉 2ndRunner-up: JMD $5,000 Hi-Lo Voucher + Grace Foods Gift Basket
· Videos must be original and created specifically for this competition.
· Participants may submit only one entry.
· All entries must be posted by 11:59 PM (Jamaica time) on March 5,2025.
· GraceKennedy reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:
o Contains offensive, inappropriate, or plagiarised content.
o Does not adhere to the budget or required ingredients.
· Winners will be selected based on the judging criteria and notified via InstagramDM from @gracekennedygrp.
· Winners must respond within 24 hours to claim their prize.
By entering, participants agree that GraceKennedy Foundation may repost,share, or use their videos for promotional purposes, with credit given to thecreator.
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered byInstagram. By entering, participants release Instagram and GraceKennedyfrom any liability.
